I put in the S/C myself at a buddy's shop but that buddy is MIA so I no longer have access to a lift. I can easily remove it with some help if I had the right tools and a lift.

How about the Borla swap? You have any rattling issues and have you done anything to the tips? Thanks.

I say we have a "Parts Removal" day where everyone helps out to part out your car.

Stock Borla tips, no rattling issues because I have several fasteners on the H-pipe section.

Okay, here's the deal guys. I wasn't expecting this much interest in my parts. What I am goign to do is put my car on ebay next week "as-is" . If it doesn't sell or meet my reserve, I will be ready to start parting out parts end of the month. I installed most of these parts on my car myself so I know how to remove it. Trouble is I do not have access to a shop anymore. The reason why I listed these parts low is because I originally planned on having the costs of getting it removed payed for by the buyer. BUT... if anyone has access to a shop of some sort, I wouldn't mind getting my hands dirty and having a DIY day and strip everything out at once. Whoever wants to help will get to buy my parts at the price listed, this will save you the cost of paying a garage/shop to do it. $1200 for 14" stoptech brakes???? Thats CHEAP AS HELL.

The shop you are referring to that isn't available anymore, is that Chris' shop in DC?

Those Stoptechs are badass...I wish I had stock Brembos to trade with you.

Jimmy,

I have access to at least 3 different shops around VA. Springfield, chantilly and perhaps in MD. If you decide to part out let me know and I can provide you with a shop to part out your car. I think my friends spot in springfield can even be used for DIY removal/install bay as it has a huuuge garage and he has lifts/tools. We can set up a huge 'chop/shop' there one day or over a 2 day weekend and you can remove/sell your stuff!! Let me know when your ready!! Good luck with the sale in the meantime!!

Puria, if Jimmy does sell, just tell me the shop and we can setup something for a DIY day to get all his stuff off.

You thinking about the SC??

Im DEF. thinking about the S/C...so much so im holding off on my volk gt7s purchase. I'll prob. need a hand from Devon installing the S/C but feel its something we can kill in one day. The spot is right near springfield mall, and its my good friends audio shop 'Ultimate Sound.' He has huge install bays and just about every hand tool/power tool imaginable. His website is still under construction last time I checked...

I actually called altered atmosphere in gaithersburg. I wanted to know how much they'd charge for removal/install in case i was too lazy to do it myself...lol....but i dont really trust their work....my friend who owns the audio shop (ultimate sound) said he was wiring tweeters/speakers in the door, A pillar and said they had made a huuge mess of wires just running the guage pod guages and cant imagine what a nightmare he had wiring to the fuse box....

The car he wired as a G35TT which I believe belongs to Gsims on this board. He posted pics of his car a while back (black G35C w/ carbon fiber kenstyle front/rear bumper.....

i guess you'll have to wait and see if it sells on EBAY. That'll be another week at least depending on auction time.
