Has anyone around this area had new 18" tires mounted & balance? How much did it run most of you? I'm getting some insane price quotes upwards of $200 for all 4. I was thinking it should be $20-25 per tire since they're only 18". Slightly more for those with 19". Any thoughts or recommendation of where to go? The Gaithersburg/Rockville, MD area would be nice since it's closer.

 

I know that it's a little out of the way but there are shops in Chantilly VA (Near IOC) that are charging ~$20/tire. I think the most expensive was the goodyear and it was $30/tire. These were for OEM17's but i cant see it being $20 more for 18's.

Those are some crazy prices, they really should average around $25/tire. Not sure where you tried, but I'm in howard county, and Mr. Tires, MTB, Merchant all average around that in ho co.

1st negative on Avons I have read, why negative? I am looking for more of a GT ride , softer, quieter, a little snow if on vacation out west and won't force to side of the road.....and they were 676 shipped (i think )
