Brembo drilled or BrakePros drilled and sloted?

I took my car to the dealership yesterday for the 30.000mile maintenance wich came out to be just over 500$ with the 20% off for the club members and they told me that my brake pads where almost out and that my rotors needed to be resurfaced WHAT?, they cuote me close to 1500$ to do all this, so i figure *** it, i can just replace the rotors for some drilled rotors and maybe some HAWK brake pads and they'll probably last me longer than the stock ones.

So here is the million dolar question BREMBO or BRAKE PROS?
Wich ones last longer, look better, WEIGHT LESS, etc. HELP

jesus...what about the stillens?? rotors are rotors so long as you dont get a ****ty *** brand, the brembo's and brakepro's are both pretty good. however if i were you, id get mine from irotors.com. go for some slotted or maybe even slotted/drilled rotors. you'll prob. get them less if not the same price as brembo/brake pro rotors. Hawk pads should run you ~100 since you have brembos. However you will NOT regret getting hawks...look at my wheels, almost never need cleaning..Lek has em too. So look at getting some from irotors.com shoot for some slotted...drilled one's i heard can crack under alot of stress (tracking the car etc), but since i dont track i plan on getting slotted/drilled for the looks as well.

WOW, I was just able to kill 10 minutes of work staring at it . Hawk pad seem to work well, I just can't get mine to stop squealing, but I think it's my fault in installing it.

I would agree on the "run away" from cross drilled rotors.

You have to be careful because company's use Brembo "blanks" and drill the holes into them. This makes the material weak and can lead to problems such as cracking.

Good luck,
Scott
