Selling My Coupe

A cross-post from the main forum, and a sad possible goodbye. After several weeks of going back and forth, I've decided it best to part with my favorite toy. The joy of driving it (and what a joy it is) does not offset the stress of owning it. My biggest regret is not having time to make it out to more club meets, 'cause the two I did join in were fun as hell.

-----------------------------

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to sell my G35. As much as I love driving it, it’s the owning part that is too much for me. I find myself constantly worrying about my car. And when I’m not worrying, I’m feeling guilty that I don’t have the time to take better care of it. And at a point in my life when I’m working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, it’s just too much. So that said, here goes:

For Sale in Washington, DC Area:
2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT
Black Interior & Exterior
Premium Package
Spoiler (3rd Part Variety)
35% Window Tint w/ Lifetime Warranty
~4600 Miles (purchased April 2005)

Asking Price: $33,500

The car is fantastic condition, as one would expect with the low number of miles. There are, however, a few known issues. The biggest one is that it’s developed the clicking rear axle problem. The repair is covered under warranty, but the required parts have been on national backorder for two months now (according to Jim Coleman Infiniti). Second, there are several blemishes (damn bugs!) and swirls in the paint from the little driving I’ve done, though someone with enough time to treat her right with some Zaino and clay barring should be able to remove them all. For a reference on the price, the Blue Book Private party is $35,300 for excellent condition and $33,425 for good condition, and I think she’s much closer to excellent condition.

You can find some photos I took two days ago here:

On account of my previously mentioned work schedule (I’m actually typing this up between builds at work, and the photos were taken in my work parking lot), I wasn’t able to clean her up for the photos. Rest assured, she’ll be properly washed before any interested buyers see her in person.

If you have any questions, or are seriously interested in a purchase, please PM or email me at nordfelt AT gmail DOT com.
