well....... if you have aftermarket wheels, you can thank me for being the test dummy. Infiniti of Chantilly (after me singing their praises) gave me my car back after washing my wheels with an acid based cleaner - hoping I wouldn't notice? The lips looked cloudy and white as hell. So I took the car back in, they waxed the wheels, and said "there ya go, just like new!" Well, that wasn't even close to fixing them. Took it back in, I've basically had a loaner all week the past few weeks. Now they put my stock wheels back on, shipped out my rims, and I guess are getting them fixed by one of their shops. I must say though, Andrea my rep has been on my side the whole time, trying to help me get this resolved.

I guess Jesus brought his car in there, and you guys know his wheels are the same finish. The guys in the back said that our wheels are completely seperate finishes, and that "i must not know how to take care of my car." I am glad I didn't hear that, but apparently Andrea set them straight. I will be getting basically brand new wheels if they can buff it out, and if not, I will be getting new wheels. They don't know I'm part of the NGC, I'm sure that discount may be revoked for all this $$ they are spending to fix their mistake

I just did speak with the head of the service department over at Chantilly. He does seem really excited about sponsoring events, offer discounts, anything basically to help out the club. I'm gonna set up a meeting with him maybe later this week or early next week and see what we can come up with. I'll keep you guys informed.
