lol, no Vic lets just say he got lucky and took his car to a dealer who didnt know better than using chemicals on his wheels...so he's gettin a 'hook up'!!
P she goes.. Yeah that other guy that came in here wanted to see if we could fix his wheels.. His looks like he was riding on the curb for miles... haha.. News of your orange peels spread far and wide
vic - dealer used an acidic based cleaner, the lips are dulls/spotty and nasty. They can't get it out so far, if they don't after today they are buying me new wheels. I'm thinking its time to get some 20's and fill up that wheel gap! haha
couple questions: Can wheel wax be used on original clear coated rims, or is it just for metals? If so, is there a store you can buy it (autozone, pepboys...)? Lastly, could regular wax (clearcoat safe) be used with similar results?
klwoods, wheel wax IS clear coat safe, and yields better results than a few waxes I tested them on including meguiars NXT and Gold class. Also smells alot nicer!! It is safe for even painted/powder coated wheels, polished/chrome, just about any/every finish you could imagine. Check out there website and see where you can pick some up locally if no online...but i dont think local auto stores sell it ...yet!!
