o god you guys missed the 'yellow cobalt'. some 10 yr old kids were clapping in their car while looking over at us for dont ask 'what' reason. anywayz we were going pretty fast down 95 and they tried to follow while taunting us...well after a while i got a bit annoyed and road rage kicked in. i decided to get in front of the cobalt and slam on my brakes, slowing down from 90 to around 45 mph! They had to swerve to avoid hitting my car but that sure got their attention!!! LOOL!!

Well, I can attest to Devons driving abilities. He definetly got a great launch on me when we were messing around on the trip up to the meet! Got a full car length ahead in just seconds.

I still want a rematch tho!

so it was a Carrera 4? that's why you probably beat him.... the 4wd 911 are the slowest of the bunch (non turbo of course)... drivetrain loses because of 4wd result in slower acceleration... not to mention the added weight of the 4wd system...

as far as the M3 story goes... the M3 had 2 EXTRA passengers and still pulled ahead... that's impressive... 2 people weight quite a bit in a car that has a base weight of 3600 lbs!!!

out of curiosity... in europe there is a standard highway acceleration test of 80-180 km/h
that's like 50-112 miles per hour.... how fast the the 6-speed G35 and 5-speed auto on this test on a nice flat road - cool temperature of course for best possible results? just curious...
