Looking for Winter Wheel/Tire Set

I know it's still early, but I want to get ahead of the game. I was wondering if anyone here has the OEM 17s that are willing to sell them. If not, does anyone know the best place/website I can browse to find the OEM 17s? I plan on wrapping them with Blizzaks as I have heard great things about them.

If I cannot find a good deal on a set of OEM 17s, does anyone here have reccomendations as to the best winter wheels I can get for both style and performance? I want something decent since I will be cruising on those rims from Nov-Feb.

For those who have winter rims/tires, can you please list your specs (size, width, brand)?

Thanks!

Well I do have an extra set of 17's wrapped in the all-season Bridgestone's that should make it through the winter just fine! (I personally dont think you need winter tires here in the DC area because we dont get THAT much snow)

Only thing is both John and Puria have expressed interest but if not they can be yours.

Are there Blizzaks available for the OEM 18s? That would look nicer than the 17s...

For winter, its usually the smaller tire the better you know? in the heavy snow areas most will almost all run 17's and since you dont have brembos i dont think you have to worry about any clearance issues with them fitting (eventhough the oem 17's do clear the brembos as well I believe. Maybe you need spacers to make that work?)

I'm not gonna bother buying the stock wheels are expensive especially the 18s and 19s I figure we have been getting less and less snow each year so I'm just gonna use my 19s and maybe put on some All Season tires. If the 19s do get screwed up then I'll just buy a new of 19s for cheap, like some Volk GT-V in Gunmetal or PIAA Super Rozzas or something.

Man **** the snow. When it snows just carpool. Thats all i can say. We do have rwd cars and even with the winter tires... Its not worth it. I say if you can't make it out you can't make it out. We dont get snow that often at all.

ehhh, this coming from someone that doesn't even drive his G into work. Bro when you gotta drive 35 miles like me each way to get to work, you'll care about what kinda tires you have on your car even when there's slush on the road, trust me!

I don't think all season tires will get you very far in the winter in a G35c. Unless you plan to get stuck at work or on the roads, get some winter tires. It didn't snow much last year but it does snow here in the DC metro area from year to year. Snow tires do come in 18" but are limited in to certain sizes. I plan to get some 18" Dunlop Winter Sport M3 snow tires but they come in 235/50/18 and 245/40/18. I'm leaning towards the 235/50/18 but not sure if the tire ratio will cause me to rub, especially in the fronts. For winter tires, narrower is better and smaller wheel diameter (hence more rubber) will better protect from potholes.
