yes, all lanes from about 3:30 to 6 (6:30?) are HOV.

you could take route 50, which isn't too bad.

Not sure but what they really need to already is make a bridge from MoCo to the Dulles area. Its ridiculous my commute is like this when in actuality my distance is 10 miles as the crow flies.
