All black setup is cool. You already have clear sides right? If not you should get them. It will look nicer with an all black setup.

Is the 24 hour wait period completely necessary? I was gonna say we can all paint them together sometime but I guess thats not an option.

I haven't yet but will paint them probably sometime soon. But everything I hear tells you to CLEAN those calipers off real good before you paint them. Take your time by cleaning with a brush and take your time to apply the paint onto the caliper.

What color is your G and what color did you have in mind to paint? Are you local?

when you clean your calipers with brake cleaner, have a tooth brush handy, i put a bucket under the rotor to catch the run off then sprayed and brushed, it wasnt too hard, but i used about a 1/2 can to a whole can for each caliper, 3 cans should do it.....BE CAREFUL...that sh&t is nasty and will eat the paint off anything it touches, just make sure not to spray it on your car, or the rims......i got some on one of my rims when i was cleaning the inside and screwed up the paint..........also after it contacts your skin for a while it will burn and swell your skin, so use rubber gloves.

dont mix all the paint at once! you will have enough to put 2 coats on each caliper....i mixed half the paint and did 1 side of the car (2 coats on each caliper) then moved to the other side and mixed the rest......(only 1 set of jack stands)......the first coat will be thin and be careful of the runs ....the next coat is applied shortly after the first (15-30 minutes), a nice thick coat....just "glob" it on the second coat, but again watch for runs...........the second coat is more like a "patting" motion and not a spreading or brushing motion cause the paint is still wet from the first coat and is a bit sticky.....

waiting the 24 hours is too allow the paint to cure.......sometime when you get home after driving the car, reach in there and feel your calipers and how hot they get ...the paint needs to fully cure before you hit it with all that heat.....

Thanks.
