Hey guys - Puria & I decided we are definitely going for a drive this Saturday - even though its not NGC related If anyone wants to come we are going to meet at the Evolution parking lot around 11:30ish. Then go west, drive the winery route, get some lunch in Leesburg, and head home around 3 or so. If you want to come, meet us there. Puria add anything I missed. Or if people need to change some times or whatever, post up!

I thought it went without saying that I'd be there... cuz I revived the possible 5/7 drive thread. Anyway, I should be done washing the car by 11:30 to meet up with everyone at Evo. 30% chance of rain - fingers crossed - we all know how bad the forecasts here are though.

 

Ack! I get to have a dentist's appointment...yay! Have a good drive guys.

On the way home from the gym on rt. 28 north I'm at a stoplight. A lightening svt in front of me, 1 guy in it. An STI behind me, 3 people in it. I know the lightening is going to take off because he keeps lurching forward. So the green comes, I take off with him. He goes no where, I inch up on him in 3rd... We both slow down, I'm in 3rd. He starts lurching a bit, so I figured he wants to go. I get up next to him, the STI is behind me. We take off, I easily pull about 2 car lengths ahead of the lightening and shut it down when I hit 130 (no one was on the road guys, don't worry). He comes flying by me, the STI is way back, he shut it down way back at 100 and I easily pulled on him (guessing the weight had something to do with it). But a win is a win, 2 solid ones for my baby

Puria, spacer came in today, pulley is going to be here tomorrow. We have some work to do

 

Stanton, long time no see man. I know you would be able to keep up with us for the drive, too bad you have an appointment. Hopefully you can make the meet on the 14th.

lol I did something really screwed up with I was racing this old old riced out civic hatchback the other day. The kid was a teenager egging me on so I wasn't trying to race him at first (would have been a waste of time). Anyway he said something like "nice car, can you drive it?". Well that pissed me off so I rolled down my window and said to him "nice car, I used to have one of those...then my dad got a job." Yea I wasn't proud of myself for saying something that screwed up anyways I did and I blew his *** away on 28 during my lunch break.

 

Hopefully I can make it. Now whether I'll be able to keep up... :-)

 

130 - snap. I havent been that high in ages. No plans on getting near there this weekend either. I've always been more into the twisties than stoplights.
