Saturday September 1st Autocross which is also the FUNCTION DYNO Day...I might try to do both, but the dyno is my priority after my last mods.
Osbourn Park High School, Manassas, VA is the location of the next autocross on SATURDAY September 1st.

Registration and tech inspection will be at 8:00 and will promptly close at 8:45 to try to accommodate the full field, while still giving 6 runs. You must be DONE by 8:45. So if you arrive at 8:00 you won't have a problem. Don't arrive at the last minute. If you don't get teched and registered by 8:45, you will lose your morning runs.

The event fee for the Saturday autocross is $25 for members and $35 for non-members at this event.

Member reservations (or participants that will join the club upon showing up) for any events can be made at any time. Open reservations for non-members for this event begin Friday August 24th.
This is also the last day for non-members to join the club. After September 1st, we will be going on a membership freeze. If you wish to join the club but can not attend, let us know by e-mail BEFORE Sept 1st, and we will allow you to join at the next event you attend.

My Daughters of the American Revolution's (DAR) Chapter is hosting a
Car Show and Watermelon Social at Water Reed Army Medical Center this
Saturday, August 25 from 1 - 3 pm. Unfortunately, I am having a hard time getting out a significant number of cars for the show.
Do you know anyone that maybe interested? The catch is I need to get
their information ASAP - meaning today, the very latest Wednesday
morning. I need to give the MPs the name, model and tag numbers by
Wednesday afternoon.
The type of cars we are looking for are weekend racers, "vintage" cars and anything that would be of interest to a 20 something soldier even a souped up truck or two would be great. It is a really great cause, most of the guys at Walter Reed are amputees and are going through rehabilitation.
