What are the biggest problems with the 350Z?

My brother is interested in buying a 350Z. What are the most common problems with the Z? Are there any model years that are either superior or should be avoided altogether? I told him he should buy a G like mine, but some people gotta learn the hard way.

Welcome to G35Driver but my opinion would be to sign up for MY350Z.com and ask them over there. You will get more in depth answers than here.

I'm assuming that the Z would have similar problems that the G35 gets as posted here in the forums?

tire feathering is a major issue that plagues 03 and 04 and some 05 Zs, overall the Z is a pretty reliable car imo

or try asking Destro, he is a service manager for Nissan. He would know exactly what problems the Z's have because its his job to get em fixed!

2 seater, and you pretty much will beat stock G35s and get all cocky about it. Also your Skidpad G ratings are close to the E46 M3 so you'll love the way that car handles. The interior isn't of the best quality. If you buy a 350Z, I don't really think you are looking for top notch leather. You are rather enjoying performance and handling.

It's a poor man's Z06

WOW! i was laughing because you love to throw "Z06" whenever you get a chance. Just because some one got a G35 doesn't imply that they can't afford a m3.... Its not always the case. Its just funny, do you work for Chevrolet or something?
