Effin IOC!

So- I call to take my car in b/c I want the damn grill replaced, it looks horrible and lots of other people have had them replaced on the new sedans b/c they suck, I also request to have the sunroof molding fixed (TSB), and the drivers door weather stripping. I needed an oil change, so it was good timing. As you all know, I live in Winchester, so I dont want to make multiple trips. They say 'no problem' and schedule me a week out to order the parts, OK, good deal.

So, I dropped the car off monday and pick up my loaner, at the time they hint they may not be able to replace the grill, I let them know I would be pissed if they didn't the other 2 things were small, and I could have gotten the oil changed at home.

They call today, its ready. Cannot replace the grill, NOW they ordered the weather stripping, it could be a few more weeks to come in. We DID fix your sunroof though (about 3 minutes and 2 drops of superglue and changed the oil. To make up for it, they are not charging me for the oil change... its still bull**** if you ask me. Why can everyone else get a new grill?!?!

end rant/

Do you get to keep the loaner for a while?

Seriously, i'd hang on to the loaner until they fix it, it's a free rental basically.

I would redline the loaner at every green light!! LOL, that'll get rid of lotsa frustration.

I had the loaner from Mon evening until yesterday when I took it back. It had been dogged enough, it was an '05 sedan, filthy and beat all too hell. I was more than happy to give it back. I dont know if I will even take it back to get the weatherstripping fixed unless they are going to fix my grill, 4 hours (if I have to leave it) of driving is a lot for them to do nothing....
