Angry FVCK, f'ed up my rims more and ruined a new tire

It was me being dumb. Trying to get out of a parking garage in a hurry. I ended up going out the in side and swerving to get out of an incoming person's way. Ended up putting MORE curb rash on my rims and ripping a chunk out of my brand new friggin' tires. Haven't even had these tires for a g0dd@mn month and I already need a new one...don't I? I was told any damage to the sidewalls needs to be fixed ASAP.

On the bright side you can see my nice new R1 Concept rotors. Too bad those rotors combined with the Project Mu brake pads squeal like a mother...maybe I didn't bed them properly...

Edit: Oops, uploaded the wrong pic.

Theres a "putty solution diy" fix somewhere on the forum. They show you how to fix curb rash easily.

project mu's are gonna squeek. but not all the time. just some times. sometimes you'll go months without squeeking...then it comes back... lol under low speed braking of course.

Exactly! If you're really light on the brakes, it's ok. If you're hard on the brakes, it's ok. It seems to be that perfect pressure where you normally brake is where it squeals.

BlacKat,

This "club" sucks...I want out.

Tell you the truth, I could give a **** less about the rims. I'm more pissed about the $200+mounting and balancing I need to shell out for a new fvcking tire!!!

Stanton if you cant see the white layer underneath it is just cosmetic damage and will not hinder the tire,s saftey.Remember i have been in the auto service industry for a very long time and trust me on this you will be ok.From the pic i cant see any problem unless you pull it back further and see the white.Tire,s are black from dye, rubber is not.
