I don't know about the GT2, but with the 911 Turbo, it's rated at 505hp (give or take). But in reality, that peak HP only comes in some sort of sports mode where the boost is scrambled for like 15 second. The rest of the time, the car operates at like 485hp(give or take). I'd imagine the GT2 to be running a similar setup where the peak HP is not available full time in order to get good millage. Similar to covettes running on 6 cyl when you cruise.

HAHAHA ^^ as though 485 is not enough! I love the 911 turbo in every way. If i ever become wealthy it will be my first car next to the supra that i own.

yeah i read about this a couple of days ago, the one thing i love about this car is the weight.. usually Porsche's are very heavy.

997 is the body code for the current gen 911s, last gen was 996. its kinda like the current bmw coupe is E92 while the last gen was E46 or the R32, R33, R34 skyline etc
