Front Plate bracket help!!!!
Front Plate bracket help!!!!
Folks, I need help with ideas on what to do with my front plate. I can only go a few weeks with the excuse of "I just bought the car and it didn't come with a bracket and had to order it" and get a warning along with a question about my 20%tint lol.
Lek told me today about a stillen bracket or something I can get, where can I find one? Or what can I do to neatly mount it without drilling holes onto bumper? Any ideas and opinions are appreciated.

someone sent me a link as I got a ticket for no front license plate. Just go to www.stillen.com and type down license bracket and it should come up. It's about 60 bucks for it. Pretty pricey.

I'm in the same boat. I'm getting my Nismo soo, and don't know what to do. I do not think the replica comes with the removable cut out for me to use these plates. I'd love to go plateless, but my name is already in the book for like 2-3 warnings and 3 tickets so there's no way i'm getting off anymore. I was thinking of drilling into the with the oem bracket and using a painted plug if i'm attending a show or whatever to cover up the holes. Ideas welcome. I mean i might be able to use one of them "JDM" offsetting mount and mount it around the vent area, but i don't know.

I have a Nismo bumper made out of polyurethane and use the Stillen bracket. What I did before having the shop paint my bumper was dremel out the tow hook cover. I run a front plate to avoid the hassle from cops but if I had to remove it, I'd slap the tow hook plastic cover on and it would look clean. $60 is pretty steep but I had limited choices.

John- you got any of your plate left over. Rhea, how much are you selling the stillen for?

^I dremeled out the hole myself. It looks very OEM just like the factory bumper without the plastic tow hook cover. All you see is the rectangular hole where you insert the tow hook. When I got the Nismo bumper, I had the option of having the shop fill in the indentation for a completely clean look but knowing I had to run a front plate, I decided to cut out the area. Again, $60 seems pretty steep but there was no other options at the time. John's G-plates were sold out and I kept on getting a second look from cops. Rather than paying for the minor infraction which is like $50 a pop (ask Devin to confirm), $60 was well worth it.

Then again I live in ghetto-fabulous Baltimore and not oppressionistic (is this a word) Virginia.
