Lucky friend just got back into town with his Exige

He found a dealer way down in Texas that had what he wanted. He flew in and drove aaaaaaaall the way back. Thats dedication there. I cant lie though, I would have done it. The funnest car by far to drive.

How much is that running these days and what are the differences between the Exige and Elise?

roughly 40k and 60k respectively exige have stiffer suspension, more lateral g, and a super charger

I thought only the Exige S had a supercharger? The Exige comes standard with the same toyota motor. The Exige S is 60k, and I believe the Exige is around 50 new. This one was used w/ very low mileage and it was about 40k..

A guy here at work here has an elise. They are very tiny, and actually can be a daily driven car. It's too small for me to keep, but a great handling car none-the-less. Quick too.

Very nice, although This def isn't a car for daily driver. Simple player material, weekend or track car. The interior justifies for the comment.

You wont believe how many ladies are attracted to his car though. However spartan the interior is, it's working for him already.

again, its not a 'player' car where you can get brain while driving around 495 while watching 'Knocked Up' on the TV screens in your vanity mirror...this car is strictly business (track). the few ppl I have spoken to who own one or driven one stated they couldnt imagine driving this thing everyday to/from work. they imagine the car as a weekend car or a track car, unless your like devon/mase and simply want to race everybody everday...too uncomft. for a daily driver IMHO
