what should I do???
what should I do???
hello guys..
This is very frustrating..
I purchased APS turbo from a member, kel. But the kit didn't have the fuel return. Well, kel told me he would get the fuel return and ship it to my house. So I paid 300 bucks for fuel return there at his shop in NJ. Later, I found out that I needed a new exhaust to go with the APS turbo. I talked to kel and he said he had B&B exhaust for sale and that was 550 bucks. So I paid total of 850 bucks for fuel return and the exhaust. This was 3 weeks ago. He kept saying he should be able to gather everything and ship out the items by tomorrow, tomorrow, and tomorrow. And now, he doesn't even answer my phone.
Since he's owning the shop up in NJ, I don't think he would run off like this.
what should I do?
I'm so pissed off and frustrated....

Seems like cases of this keep happening more and more often. There should be a forum thread of bad sellers. Try calling him from a different area code. If this has played out like you said, this is just bad business. Especially for someone owning and running a shop.
When you bought the turbo kit, you should have asked if it came with everything needed for the install. If you did that and were lied to, thats more fuel for the fire.

Check if he is listed with the BBB, if so, file a complaint. If not, you can file something under his stub if he is listed on their site. Next, If he has committed fraud across state lines which is the case. Check with FTC to see if you can get federal laws on your side to help you. Finally, hire a lawyer and get him to write a "scary" letter to your guy in NJ to see if that will do the trick. If not, you will most likely have to proceed through the legal process and get your day in court. In the meantime, you can badmouth him on this forum and start a protest blog about his business and try to get it Digged enough times that everyone on the Internets are emailing him and calling his business with flak.
Good Luck!
Good Luck!
If i am not mistaken.. Kel was the member doing the V8 conversion Twin Turbo on his G? ... there is a big thread about his project on the picture forums i think. You should def. file a complaint if he doesnt respond to you soon.
