AAM meet 06.02.07 (dyno chart & pics inside)

Well...as only a few of you know, today was depressing for me. I rolled in early and got a best of 241.3 hp/ 226.2 tq. .....THEN..... "Nismoto" rolled up after me bone-stock ( I might add) and got 242-ish hp. WTF so I got to thinking, right (me thinking is never good btw) Let me do an AAM ecu-reflash! This should tie-up my mods well and help me out. Well, lets just say, 5 bills later and a Flash, I gained an awsome 4hp/5tq mid-range and 3hp/3tq +/-. (max power)

now...they SAY I'll get better numbers later on, once I put some miles on the car, but who knows. I'll have to dyno again some other time. (if its not in a lake somewhere. haha)

either way, I had a blast just chillin' with the fellas and the cars. AAM staff is awsome but my ride sucks-azz! Geeeeeez....(lol)

I will say, TODAY WAS SO EFF'in HOT!!!

Hey man don't feel so bad.... Car is definitely SICK!! It is one of the reasons many choose not to do many bolt-ons at all though.

The big problem is those wheels and tires. Put your stocks back on and re-dyno it. Just watch those numbers go up.

Sorry I went right after you bro. After seeing yours and a 5AT '06 350z, I was sure I wouldn't put up more than mid 230's. But... to [pretty much] everyone's surprise... I pulled a 242 I think there's something to the rims though, you're wider/larger and thereby heavier which would make an impact on numbers....but rollin' with so much style. I wasn't paying attention to that when they dyno'd it.

So look at this way.... you have all that style, and it's not hindering performance. So you just start from here and move forward with you mods from now on And good luck with that ECU flash.

It was great meeting everyone and yeah, hot as a **** out there!!!

Hmmm... looking at your torque numbers.... Now mine don't seem so off at all. You're doing almost 230 torque with mods and a flash, and I'm doing 213ish stock. I guess my numbers are about right after all on that.

Turn out was okay. Good number of people for the parking lot I'd say 20-30 cars? Mostly 350z, but a few of us G folk were there. I've been to a lot of meets with different groups and this one was handled very well. Free food.....free redbull (it gave me wings)...good people. The AAM guys were helpful and knew what they were talking about. They showed some cool demos of their new equipment too. Only thing I'd say wasn't good was they were behind schedule on the raffle and stuff, but who cares. It was cool of them to have the raffle so can't complain about it.
