Yeah, I have been driving for a few days with it off as well, definitely feels way better than with vdc on.

Yea I noticed that the first day I bought the car. Shifting was sluggish. I come from the s2000 family and I didn't have high hopes of the g35 shifting, but as soon as I turned off the VDC I was much happier. I only really notice it in lower gears though.

The next thing that follows the turn on of my ignition, is the turn off of my VDC every time i get in my car. In my opinion VDC was created for really bad weather or for people that can't handle a sports car because it basically kicks in every time the "computer" thinks you are loosing control of the car

I dont understand why pepole say the VDC is too controlling honestly. Yes it changes the shifting a tad, but even on a track, the VDC wouldn't kick in until the car was pretty much at its limits anyways. The tires and suspension are more restricting than the VDC in my opinion.

I'm thinking about doing the KPTechnologies mod and have it so that the VDC is off until I turn it on (rain/snow etc).

Be careful guys. When the weather takes a dip for the worse.. i.e. rain, snow, etc.. please keep in mind that it might be better to keep on.

Yeah, I saw the KPT stuff a while back, but wasn't sure about. But after seeing some positive reviews and wanting my VDC to stay off during decent weather.... I think I might get this also.

also VDC off is not for everyone. Do I need to revive a thread from the past? The g35 has a good amount of torque. Its very easy for you to do a 360 in a g35 without even having to try. When i first got the car I did a 180 a couple of times with the VDC on just by taking a left hand turn too hard. And I wasn't going that fast. it was more of I was just going WOT through a turn loooool anyways just becareful for yourself and others on the road.

actually since getting the springs installed & toyos, its actually HARDER for me to slide the tail out while taking a turn too hard...

Used to be able to without a problem with the Bridgestones/oem springs, can't as easily anymore...

I have the KP module to keep mine off unless I turn it back on. With the TT it kicks on all the time and drives me nuts.
