Mine overheated to the point that it melted the GPU itself (and yes it is adequately cooled, with not a damn thing around it, just poor cooling design). Any first gen version is prone to this...even some of the newer ones.

Hence why I recommended the warranty....

Mine has never overheated, never reset, and doesn't crash. When I initially bought mine (one of the very first models, I camped) it had bugs in the first week. I sent it in, and instead of them fixing it, they sent me a brand new one) This is what I have now and have never had a problem since. The guys I play with online dont have any problems either with their xbox.

I've had two people try and lowball me at work for what it would be worth me keeping it.

If anyone wants it, please keep the posts relevant to that.

Im just waiting on the data transfer cable to come in so I can get all my goodies off the hard drive and onto the new one. MS offers free ones for those that upgraded. (I guess they didnt expect current owners to buy one)

As soon as that comes in, I will let it go for $280 with all of the stuff I mentioned before. Anything less than that, I might as well keep it and throw it on the main floor

Sorry, not interested then. Office Depot just a few weeks ago had them for $340 for the Premium brand new. I'll just wait for another deal like that and get them for free.
