Spacers Needed for '07 G35S Sedan H&R drop?

[Hopefully I'm posting this in the right section]

All -

My H&R Sport Springs are on the way (hopefully installed end of next week).

Question. Do I need/should I get spacers to bump the wheels out to sit flush with the wheel well arch?

Yes. I'm ordering some spacers right now to sit more flush on my wheels. I dont know what your sizes and offsets are though but I'd say maybe 10mm and 20mm for you? There's probably some more info in the wheels and tires section.

I have the Sport package which comes with the following:

18" Wheels - split 7 spoke alloys

- Front - 7.5" x 18" with 45mm offset with 225/50R18 W rated summer performance tires.

- Rear - 8.5" x 18" with 50mm offset with 245/45R18 W rated summer performance tires.

Thoughts? Also, where can I get spacers from? How much?

I would suggest getting through H&R if your going to do it. I would want to bring the stockers out to sit flush if it were me, everyone has different tastes though!

hokiesean24 - I'm assuming you purchased spacers as well??? If so, which did you get. Keep in mind I know nothing about this stuff. Also, will be eventually upgrading my shoes to 19s". Thoughts?

I can't comment on those sizes because of being 18's and i have 19's but there's a great thread in the Wheels and Tires section by Ericcson or some name like that regarding spacesr. You just want to make sure you get hubcentric spacers with the rings to not have vibration.

No, I am not running on Spacers. My wheels (aftermarket) are wider than yours. I also have smaller offsets that your stockers have apparently. My suggestion would be to have the springs installed and then measure how far it is from the tire wall to the fender well. Then maybe look to buy spacers sized accordingly to push the wheels out to the desired location.

I am sure someone can do the math... I dont know enough about to feel accurate in doing it.

I think most after market 19's sit pretty flush as they are wider than stock. Regardless, put springs on and see how it look and how much you need to bring it out like somebody stated.

I'd go with 10mm spacers all around. It'll push your wheels out and look alot nicer than stock.
