I saw it on an IMAX last night. All I can say is WOW

 

The movie was freaking amazing! I will be seeing it again for sure! One of the best "fight scene, war movies" i have seen in a long a$$ time!

saw it last night. great movie! i must say, Lena Headey wore some sexy a5s clothes in that movie...she made me want to just, grab her.

 

Damn I missed out..all tix were sold out!!..

If you're a teenager, this might be a "bad a$s" movie. Good CGI effects, cinematography, and action which makes up for poor dialogues and acting.

Some of the things that bothered me about the movie:
1. Too many man-breasts. I don't have a problem with the outfit, but ****, not every soldier is a Calvin Klein model ok?!

2. Bad effects on the blood, looks like poka dots on the screen.

3. Everytime Gerard Butler said "Sparta", I just wanted to rip the arm rest out and stab myself in the neck with it.

4. Over-acting by almost every actor in the movie.

Final verdict:
fun factor: 8/10
Academy Award factor: 1/10

I loved the movie
it was awesome, sexy, amazing battles and acting was very good in my perspective.
The director capture some of the best angles for certain scenes that was just dazzling and drawdropping.
I willsee it again very soon.
the rhino scene was crazy good. short but very hero like scene

 

Crazy movie haha when i saw the rhino coming i thought they were gone for sure.. i just wish they showed where they hit the rhino to make it go down like that.. hmm.

 

did i mention the queen wore some sexy a5s clothes. it's almost like a teaser!!
i dont know how the people in sparts could resist a sexy and beautiful queen like that in town. if i was a spartan, i would be on that a5s even before she became queen.

 

movie was OK, just alot of exaggeration. I guess they just took the premise of a real battle between the spartans (greeks) and persians and just went to town. Exaggeration after exaggeration and 2 hours later the movie was over. I like how they made the spartans honorable and humble and the persians tyrants and killers. Truth is back then there were no laws and whomever you conquered were your slaves. Hey one thing they got spot on was that we knew how to party back then and we still do ;P
