It was good meeting a lot of you guys yesterday. I don't think we could of asked for better weather and that photo location on the ridge (just past mile marker 20 Hogback Overlook so remember that for next year). I think that spot "might" hold up to 75-100 cars packed in. Hopefully someone will be able to post good pics from that cliff. I know one or two members scaled that rock cliff for the good of the club. It sucked that someone got pulled over but VA is known to have some stealth UC. That park ranger you saw driving in the park had radar too. I noticed a signal coming from the V1 driving around the mountains and coming around a corner saw the ranger. I was tagged but luckily only going 40mph.

Thanks Lekster for putting this together, I know how much you don't like to do all the work organizing a big event like this.
Someone should organize a beach meet. I was at Sandy Point State Park (located at the foot of the Bay Bridge on Rt. 50) on Saturday and noticed a VW meet. There was about 20-30 cars. It's a great location given that the weather is nice for a meet/cookout/beach activity area. Only problem is during the summer months, traffic towards the Bay Bridge heading east gets busy after 9-10am. It's not a bad location for a multi-state meet since guys from PA/DE/NJ could make the trek.

You're lucky you weren't driving with me and the dude that owns this car in the picture. We were coasting at over 90 hitting 100 a couple of times while swerving in and out of traffic.

Did anyone else get horribly lost after we all went our separate ways. I was trying to get to north of D.C., ended up in downtown D.C., while looking for 495 ended up back in college park, and then went the wrong way from college park back to 270 lol. Yeah I'm an idiot tooooo lol.

Anyone of you guys up for doing it again with the Z ride? I would stand out like a sore thumb without a bunch of the Coupes along, haha-

It was a nice ride, and it was to meet all of you guys. I was the kid in the red sedan taping it all. I will edit the movie as soon as I can and post it.

P.S. how do you post pictures on here?

By bad parking, do you mean to point out this dude?

He definitely ruined what could have been a great pic.
