Burned the hell outta my clutch trying to get out. After 2 attempts, I called it a day heh.

Digging didnt work, shoveling the driveway with at least 4" thick ice all over... bah.

Yep, same here...had to dig myself out w/ of my driveway w/ help from 2 other guys w/ shovels and metal pipes.

I got caught on a patch of ice and my car didnt make the clearance, so when I gave it gas, the wheels just spun....it looked like I had spinners

I was digging out from 6am and I finally got out around 8:15am and I just went turned back around and went inside, cuz I felt my fingers and feet getting cold and was worried about frostbite.

I didn't bother driving the G yesterday before the neighborhood was plowed. I figured if my front bumper couldn't clear the snow and I wasn't getting paid to plow the streets, it wasn't worth it. Instead I took the wife's IS300 with blizzaks. It surprising did well and made it through fresh sleet/snow 3" deep just as long as I had momentum.

If your car is lowered, even with snow tires, you're out of luck. The way I see it, I can only drive around with 2-3" or snow on the ground before severely scraping on snow being built up by plows. I have about 4-5" of clearance and it made a horrible noise getting over some snow patch at the entrance of the neighborhood. I'm clueless as to what to do entering the neighborhood tonight but don't plan to park 1/4 mile away.
