Hey man. The mileage is actually stored in each gauge cluster. I believe the gauge cluster calculates mileage based on RPM and vehicle speed.

What do you mean by "throw mileage on the car"????

On the 6MT what do you guys get in the small screen in the middle?
On at it shows gears.......what does it do on MT?

Yup, your mileage would show 0 miles. Although with your beat up ride no one would believe you had 30k miles on it......

Well unfortunately, for those of us who get their oil changed at the dealership , dont forget that they do keep a record of your mileage in the system each time you get your oil changed. So even if you do N!GG@ rig your mileage, the truth will always be at the dealership....now if you can change the numbers in the corporate system...Then you will have succeeded.
