Somebody posted a race of a civic and a viper in the lounge section. This type of posting occurs many times in the coupe forum. Although the G coupe is far from the fastest car (one i'll prob. sell this year) and not my fav. by far I hate when ppl try to compare apples to oranges. Nothing annoys me more than a kid posting a go cart on 4 wheels racing a maranello and bragging that its faster. My point is simple. Brag all you like, thats great your car can beat a ferrari. However, regardless of how much money or time is spent its something the average person can achieve and nothing special IMHO. Anybody on this forum couldve bought a civic and made it as fast if not faster than our G and probably any other car. Thats fine, great hoewver end of the day when its time to get into your car...your still in a civic. My point is NOT that the G is a better car. The point is simple 'Dont get so excited that you were able to hang or beat a Aston martin vanquish, because most everybody driving a 30k car couldve done so as well...nothing special' Most of the kids posting these vids liek to brag or thing 'aww i took an AM!!'.

Even if one of you modded hte G and posted a race against say an Aston Martin...I'd tell you the same thing. Dude Arjun, calm down...its still a G35...dont try to increase its class or think you'll increase its resale by beating a Vanquish!!! I by no means think the G is even on my top10 car list...however reading these annoying posts over and over is just funny IMHO. How these kids think taking a 15k car and making it faster than a 100k car in turn means the car is better or superior. Hence the saying 'a turd w/ a rocket' can be fast but in the end its just a turd...

He's just 'kicked it up a couple notches' from a civic to an Evo, otherwise same mentality. Actually I know Mase and he's really not like that. Down to earth and mods for the love of speed and modding...not for racing. He's also a track junky who likes to improve his times...but he NEVER would feel that he's superior to another person b/c his car can beat theirs!!
