Keep in mind this is only for the headunit/double din/Pac SWI-ALP install. I already had the amp/3-ways/sub/amp wiring/speaker wiring etc. installed prior to the headunit.

nice job man, looks awesome (good call on the DLS...can't go wrong with that!!)

I've actually wanted to move my sub-amp location in my trunk. Its currently directly across from my JL 10" in the trunk. Any ideas? I've been thinking of putting it where the bose amp was but have no idea how to do that....

(I think doing this will at least make it a tad easier to get to my spare tire/wheel lock)

There are some pics floating around of someone who installed a JL 500/5 where the stock amp is located. Actually there are two installs on the main forums from what I can remember. One guy actually had the amp sitting on top of the stock amp "cage".

Yea it was amthar I think. Ive seen his install for the Jl 500/5. And it should probably be much easier for me with just the 500/1 (much smaller). Just don't know what the hell I'm doing

After doing some research people on this board recommend EDead the best for sound deadening. I'm going to look up where I can buy some and at the very least put some in my trunk. Just searched it here and found this:

http://www.g35driver.com/forums/show...=dynamat+trunk

Can be purchased here is what you want:
http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=52

Not bad at all considering its $1.60 a square foot.
