I don't know if this is the best price since I'm too lazy to look on eBay and I got mine with my Best Buy discount years ago for ~$150 but $265 ain't bad either. Save $35!

^^dude STFU, he's NOT selling this himself you jack @ss. He is simply posting a LINK to Amazon that IS selling the 8500 X50 BRAND NEW, this is not a member selling his own equipment!!! He said he's not sure if Ebay has them cheaper. SO get your head out of your @ss b4 you call people an @ss you @ss.
So if you want a brand new 8500 x50 for $265 shipped click the link to go to amazon and buy it. and if you think it's 2 expensive than get a small cardboard box, cut out some holes for red LEDs. Then get some crayons and color it just like a real escort 8500 and use a hanger to mount it and light up your LED cardboard 8500 @ssmaster detector. Then notice as long as your sitting close to it, the LEDs light up..but as soon as you get out of your car and walk away the LEDs will turn off

i know im going to be working on stans stealth mod for the detector today...i finally got the positioned where i need it to be so it won't be noticable.

"Stealth" mod, Wal-Mart, it'll cost you like $4 and 15 minutes of your time. Good luck, PM me if you have a questions, and post pics when you're done. Depending on where you put it, either you or your passenger will be unable to use the sun visor. I mean you can still use it but you wont' be able to fold it all the way out, assuming you want to keep the detector near the tint strip. And be sure to get a long enough phone cord, don't make 2 trips like I had to.
