Vic, take a look at the map I attached. Where Rt. 211 crosses Skyline Drive, isn't that where we used to go with Chris back in the day? Wasn't that the road with the visitors center at the top of the mountain and we used to just go up and down over and over again? I'm trying to remember... I also remember hearing that they were cracking down on people racing through there b/c of some accident, thoughts?

 

yeah i think we take 211 back instead of going back down skyline drive thru the mountain. Atleast we did that the last time we went to skyline. Cause its close to one of the entrances. Its the entrance right before the tunnel. The road is good. lots of twisties. but i wouldnt' want a bunch of g's racing up and down that road. looool And the road seems really slanted.

 

I remember doing 211 back in the day with the Cap G crowd, but the term "Skyline" is becoming more and more the stuff of legend...

Now I'm gonna be in search for a "-ring" in the area...

We take 211 back home all the time now.

 

Yeah but I want to make sure that's the road we used to drive back and forth up the mountain back in the day...

ah! 211 ...how I miss your killer turns! Cops got that sh|t on lock down now. That used to be my street adrenaline rush getaway spot.

I know of 2 people that lost their lives on that mountain, and I lost 1 bike to her.

As for Chris...Chris has always been a little on the flaky side. A while back I heard he was suppose to be moving to New Mexico to work in a dealership there after he left Passport. But I heard from Jeff that he's apparently still in the area and working at some other dealership...I can't remember which one exactly but I remember when he told me I was like WTF!!!
