Well, the M5 and E55 wont blow off the doors of a modded Evo. I've never race an M5 or E55 before, but I have seen video of it...Now, the vette is another story.

I don't think they plan on making one.
It will probably technically be the new Supra. They'll probably be on the same platform (kinda like the G and Z).

What?!?
Isn't the current IS RWD? Having a 300+hp car with FWD is a very poor design. The torque steer would make it undrivable.

Well, now that the IS has even more power, I only want to know two things...
1) Is there going to be a manual tranny?
2) How is this thing going to handle with all the extra weight of a V-8 under the hood?

And why the hell would that website believe the motor powering this car is going to be the 4.6 liter V-8??? Wouldn't that make this car the IS460 instead?

I concur...

I was real close to gettin the IS350 over the G, no Mark levinson option/no 6spd are the ONLY reasons I didn't...

RWD is standard on the IS; however, all wheel drive is optional though.

An all wheel drive IS500 will be excellant.

Naming conventions arent very faithful to displacement these days, for example, the current E90 bmw 325i, 330i and the upcoming 2007 335ci and 328ci all use the same 3.0L I6 albit with different tunes. im guessing the IS500 will use a bored and stroked version of the 4.6L V8 to 5.0L which is the same spec rumored for the supra.
