I am an attorney, but I am not licensed in VA. My firm usually refers VA work to Bynum & Jenkins, PLLC. They do everything, and they represented me for a Reckless Driving charge in Fairfax a couple months ago. Anyways, their number is 703-549-7211. If you choose to call, feel free to say that Carl Tugberk from Keith Watters' office referred you. They don't know me too well since I have only been with my firm since January, but they have been working with Keith, my boss, for a long time. Ask for Ken Bynum or, if he is not available, Marcia Wright is the lawyer who represented me in court, and she was very good. Good luck!

Also try David Hall with the firm Phillipps, Beckwith, and Hall. He has represented me, my brother, my ex-girlfriend, and numerous friends and co-workers of mine for all sorts of stuff. Very very very good group of lawyers! I highly recommend them. Call David Hall at 703-691-4100.
and there office is across the street from the courthouse, very convenient.

OK peeps........Games Over before I even touched the ball.
I called 2 lawyers today, both refferals, and according to them, in the County of Fairfax, the police do not need abosolute proof of drunkeness. They can say you are drunk or appear to be drunk, they have a weak case because they didn't fall through with any type of tests, but they are not required to do these tests.
Apparently, the police have the right to arrest on suspicion of a person being drunk.....if they want to back there case up, they CAN administer tests. So it looks like he followed all his rules, and made my life tough for 1 night. Thanks for all the help guys.

The attached article smells with just a hint of radical propoganda, but it does shed some light on the broader climate that Devon got caught in -

You can still file a complaint with the department. He had no reason to throw you on the hood like that. I think all of the cops actions were out of line from the get go flying through the parking lot to find who was squeeling tires and ****.

How about if u have about ten witnesses that can say that you where not drunk that day, and saw the way the cop abused his authority?
