Just read this on FFX Gov't website:
"Effective July 1, 2006, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has repealed Article 12, Motor Vehicle Decal Fee, Sections 82-12-1 through 82-12-12 of the Code of the County of Fairfax. As a result, Fairfax County residents will no longer be required to purchase and display a County decal on the windshield of their vehicle! "

 

that still leaves the inspection sticker...

 

yup, but at least now, we can slide that further over to the passenger side...

According to subsection C of 19VAC30-70-50:
"On all windshields, except school buses, the sticker is to be placed at the bottom of the windshield so that the inside or left edge of the sticker is one inch to the right of the vertical center of the windshield when looking through the windshield from inside the vehicle."

 

Man, I bought my car at OIT, and it had one and it was the most annoying thing in the world. I couldn't really peel it off. Thank god when i took my car to OIC, they folks there took it off for me seeing how i partially rip it out. I think the whole sticker deal is just plain retarded and plain nazism if you ask me. Make no sense to me.
