Why has this turned into a my d1ck is bigger than your d1ck race thread??? Straight line, if the sedan is lighter and both have 6MT and same hp, sedan will probably pull over the coupe. This is barring any aeorodynamic and tire contact patch differences which may enhance or deteriorate performance between the two cars. That said, the coupe adds additional features that make it a far better track performer than the sedan. The VLSD, tighter suspension, active steer, and dual mass flywheel (is it lighter?) are features not available in the sedan. Modded, the rulebook can be thrown out the window, but bone stock there are clear case advantages for the coupe in spirited driving conditions over the sedan. Although there are significant intersects and commonality with both coupe and sedan, I see them as different variants of the same ancestral DNA. This explains the slightly different market segment between the two cars.

from what I understand, or atleast from what ive heard, the sedans "sport suspension" is not the same as the coupes. In the sedans favor though, their drag coefficient is a hair better than the coupe (surprised me)

Let me throw myself in here. No, I dont have the fastest car nor do I claim to have one BUT what does goin in a straight line even prove?

Frankly speaking I think I'm a damn good drive, probably better than most here. I think having no tixs or no accidents EVER in my 10 years of driving speaks for itself. Call me lucky, call me a slow driver, whatever. Those that have driven with me know I dont drive slow. I think i'm a very cerebral driver. Always know my outs, know where I can go. I wish everyone could be like that.
