Well, if you wired them to the gas pedal, Arjuns lights would never come on...

The car already has lights on the doors that help illuminate the ground when open. Of course they don't do it as well as the a/m puddle lights.

I could could see getting a set of those that come on when approaching the car. Could turn some heads.

I put some of those PIAA's into the doors and still get compliments when the doors are open. The white light looks good in itself. I'd never get these puddle lights.

Lighting like that is only illegal when the car is moving.

So don't forget to turn them off, because like B said they will be on you with quickness.

Let's clear it up.

They ONLY come on when you hit the FOB to unlock your car. Hence why they are "VIP Puddle" Lights...

You don't drive with them ON.

You hook them up to a power supply similar to the dome light so when you get out of the car and the dome light is ON.

The Concept of these are so you can see what you are stepping on when you get out of the car (Example-- Puddle).

So "legally" you're not breaking any laws.

I'm thinking bout picking up a set but my car is just waay too low.. I can barely fit my foot under the car... nontheless... brackets and lights!

Right here:
http://jlevistreetwerks.com/store/pr...a2f7e77dab42fd

Has both under seat and exterior.

10 pack for $40 bucks. I'd def be interested in doing this..and maybe doing a group install. Cuz I sure as hell don't know how to do it myself

Illegal in VA to drive with them on.

Usually they're wired in with your unlock system. They come on when door opens or when you hit ur key FOB. However, you could wire them to a switch ....

Has anyone figured out a way to put them somewhere else and get the same effect? I know they come with bendable brackets so we can angle em etc.. If I put em on my Kenstyle sideskirts.. my car will NEVER get on a lift lol.. My car already has a hard time getting on the lift as is.
