MOD Friendly Dealer!!!

Well I went last Friday to get an Oil Change, I decided against going to IOC because of the problems lately. I tried Annapolis, damn these guys are REAL MOD friendly. I got the card of the head shop guy, not the guy at the counter , but the guy who actually turns the wrneches. He said they will install ANYTHING. He was offering to do the gear change for my car, he said he had 2 sets ready for install if anybody wants them. They didn't give me a free oil change, but they gave me 15% off which came out to $33. They were not busy at all. I drove in and got service quick. Might have to try and work a better deal with these guys for us MD peeps!

Brians been trying to push for that, however Brian told us months ago that Annapolise offeres 25% off all parts and services just like IOC, i dont know what happened to that.

Im working on writing a letter to Jim Coleman where T works to get us the same benefits.

^^ Yep. They would not install my springs. I did go there to get my alignment though. I talked to the shop manager and they do give discounts to NGC, but because their alignment "is already marked down", I couldn't get a discount on that. $90 bucks.

Hello all, I'm THE GUY. I do all of the mods here when they come in. I can't say what happened with the springs, I may have been off becasue I would have done them. The old parts manager did the 25% discount. I am going to talk to my new parts manager later today to see if he will do the same. As for mods, anybody want the factory Ipod kit put in their G? The car must be prewired for SAT. Infiniti is not releasing a kit because you have to remove a lot of the interior but this kit uses OEM parts and it works. I have done 2 G sedans and Ijust did a 350Z yesterday. I speak with Nissan Motorsports at least twice a week and have the big NISMO catalog (damnit why can't I read Japanese) I am on IM all day so say hey or swing in to the place. Just for a heads up, we will be doing a MAJOR renovation starting later this year. The building will be redone with the new Infiniti dealer look so please bear with us if the place looks like hell for the next year.

yeah if you guys can match the free oil changes then im sold. theres a lot more folks in this club from MD than from VA. it would be great to have some other alternatives for services from Chantilly which is exceedingly far from most of us.

How do these Mods affect factory warrenty? I have no problem with an item voiding the items in the same system, but what I would want to avoid is someone getting a flywheel installed, then they have a TSB and the dealer won't fix it because of the modification.

And as always it would be nice to get that type of thing in writting if we're going to make this official.
