my mom has a red coupe auto, it alright. A bit faster thant the si, but the interior of the g is so cheap looking. the only thing the g has that i really like is the exterior styling. Deff. a chick magnet.

It sounds strange to me because the police are a governent agency, and they only use american cars for all of thier official use vehicles?

Yeah, I have only seen official cop cars that are American, never imports. I know there are undercover drug enforcement cars that are not, I sometimes service a 2004 silver Maxima that is a narcotics agents car (not personal car, undercover). But I have never seen an import fixed with lights and sirens.

This is definitely a possibility. The county I used to live in had a 300 ZX set up with the internal light bars. It was marked though - not an undercover. I know they used to nail a ton of people on the highway by coming up behind someone that would just see a 300 ZX in the rearview, as soon as the person would speed up - instant ticket.

Well those of you who live in NOVA and were out around the reston, herndon, centreville area and got held up by that cops funeral, there were alot of cops (undercover and marked). I thought I was in a scene from the game "Grand Theft Auto"...except they were going the other way and have every intersection blocked off so I couldnt get home. So basically I got out my car to watch since traffic can to a stand still and everyone else was getting out of their car and you couldnt make any left turns.

Well anyway, I watched and I was amazed at how many different kinds of unmarked cop cars their were from (impalas, probes, neons, pontiac G6's, SUV's, Dodge Magnums, Chrysler 300's and even a Scion XB). I will just say that I was amazed and if they got a G35 coupe now...our number will be coming up pretty soon.

Glad I have a black coupe. But yeah, I wouldn't be surprise if cops had all sorts of imports. Domestic or import, they both still cost money. It's not like a full size SUV is any cheaper than a G35 and I've seen quite a few SUV cops.
