What brand of tint is durable and provides good heat reduction, and what's a good local shop that offers it?

United Solar Tinting, in jessup. $140, a lot of G's/Z's in this area go there. Did pretty good job and pretty good price.

some chick we met at rio grande's boy friend works at LA tint, she claimed 180 bucks hookup at LA tints. devon has her number in his phone

 

Yacoub, you know I am looking to get my windows tinted. If you decide on a place let me know and I will probably go there too. I just want a place that either paints or sands off the dot matrix so I don't have to worry about bubbles.

 

most shops these days can handle dot matrix fine since that has been on rear car windows now for a good five model years or more. i'll keep you posted if i find a good shop.

I recomend them also best job and a great price.Ther are about 4 of us who used them .I was told by a fresh alloy person and stan.Fast too.

This is the confusing part .Dev said the guy came to him.Mine was done on guilford rd.Parallel to 32 .No problem with dot matrix ,he also baked mine to dry faster.2 years no problems.

 

Guilford Rd. was where i went also. The matrix part was still bubbly if you stick your face to it. You can't tell from inside the car looking back and can't tell if you're more than 6" away. That's fine with me, i'm not that **** about my tint as some people are.

My dot matrix is fine no problems.

 

i just tinted my 3rd car last night...although it has been a year since i done, so it took awhile to get the back in the swing, but after i did the first window i got the hang of it...The results were good, but his car was used and the window on the inside had acutal dents and scratches on it so it took me awhile to realize that instead on spending 30 mins on one spot wondering why it wouldnt come out


but all in all it was fun now i have to finish the two front ones(he had a suburban) later cause he ran out of tint

cant wait to get my car back so i can tint those puppies
ill let you guys check it out my handy work before i start taking orders

Tint looks great so far. He did a good job. I'd definitely recommend him.

Btw, he's been doing tint installation for about 20 years now.
