stop asking questions about the hks supercharger.you cannot get this unit anymore,rotrex and hks had a falling out so there is no more hks s/c.go with vortech or stillen.if i were you id go tn st or jwt tt.and call mike at www.alteredatmosphere.com and join us on the dark side lol.

I've thought long and hard about this...and decided I can't afford anything other than the HKS... which is no longer in production. The Tn ST is ideal...but talkiing to Kelly from my350z he advised me how much I will need.... atleast the cost of the unit plus another 50% of cost for the unit plus installation of course. Install would be free or really cheap because I have 2 friends who will do the install for me. But I'm probably looking at a good 8k easily plus crossing my fingers that nothing goes wrong. I also was thinking of the stillen and I just can't get myself to buy that hood. I dunno...its not bad looking...but its not hot neither. Then the idea of running nitrous came up...instant 100whp...refilling the bottle would be cheap as well.. but I had a friend who was burned beyond recognition from having nitrous in his car and getting into an accident. I'm just not willing to risk that. Reading posts after posts of people having huge problems...then some people not having any problems.... I can't risk that...I just can't. So I've decided what I am going to do to this car. Only if HKS would come out with another SC.... I've been told by a few people feeling of getting in your car and wondering whether today will be the day that everything goes kaboom... i can't live with that...
hey lek,what people said they feel my car is ready to go boom.only 2 people have ever been in my car....and guess what there has never been any such idea as to boom.btw the stillen is the safest fi on the market bar none.i wish for you that the hks was still out there but it isnt.btw now there is almost 20,000 miles on the unit and it still runs great (last comp check i did,all was with in 5%) you cant beat that.i just want you to get the best you can afford and be safe with.also i just wanted to pick up 1 second in the 1/4 mile and i did that easily.btw can you give me the names of those people that where in my car.prolly not cause i can name you the 1 person that was in my car.btw the hks is the most expensive of the s/c kits.lek dont try to bullsh!t me cause you aint good enough.

the hks was the most expensive. But because no one buys it...many vendors were offering it for a very good price. Plus the HKS is the most complete kit there would be nothing that I would need for it. So I know exactly how much money it would cost up front. I'm not talking about going kaboom with the stillen....i am referring to the tn st.
sorry lek i thought you were refering to my set up.your right about the turbos.but the problem with the hks,which is a great unit,is that what happens if you need spare parts down the road.nitrous has also been made much,much safer over the years.you still need to tune with nitrous though.but nitrous is the easy way to get in the 12,s.

well thats true about the HKS...what if i need parts... but what parts would I need? They're supposed to have used the best stuff... thats why its so expensive. But over time everything will break down. I am just worried about the nitrous blowing up in an accident. That is all I'm worried about. I dont really need to run 12s or anything.. I just want that extra kick... something to leave the rest of the N/A g's in my rear view.....
