TT Sedan goes to Cecil County Dragway for some testing, video and
I took the sedan to the track for some shake down testing on 10/26/24 in full street trim. Full weight, stock wheels, stock sized tires with stock tire pressures just to get a baseline of how the car would perform in full street trim and to make sure everything was running properly.
I started the day driving to Cecil County Dragway in Maryland, which is 165 miles from my home. Car drove perfect the whole way there with no issues, great afr's at wot and cruising, tune is great thanks to Seb @ Specialty Z.
I was able to make three passes:
1st pass 12.33@118.70
2nd pass 11.90@122.02
3rd pass 11.5@127.90
I'm pretty sure the car would've gone quicker with some more practice, slicks and/or drag radials and a better launch(you can tell by the 60ft times). I've only done these three passes at the track with this car. I had a long trip back home to NY from MD because of Saturday traffic so I had to leave early.
I attached a video of the 11.5 pass to this post.
I also attached some pics of the day and all three timeslips below.
At some point I will be buying some slicks or drag radials to attempt some 10sec passes come spring time.
