12s? Really? Are you delusional or what?

These cars run 13.8 - 14.1 stock.

What makes you think a couple of bolt ons is going to put you into 12s?

The v8 BMW m3 runs high 12s

The new coyote mustang runs mid to high 12s.

The new s55 m3 runs low 12s.

You'll need at least some type of power adder to break into 12s whether it be boost or nitrous

Maybe if you owned a 335 or a S4 you could dip into 12s with bolt ons & a tune, but definitely not with the G

Look at the other 1/4 mile thread. I did a quick look through and one of the guys ran a 13.1. With the right air and maybe a little weight reduction I could easily see a 12 second pass with bolt ons.

This dude went 13.0:

although i kind of agree with qmantran, i wouldn't say it is impossible. weight reduction, good tires and full bolt on along with a great tune might get you there. The weather and elevation affect the time quiet a bit.

I went through the hassle of looking up that track name and location just so I can use the DA calculator to correct those times and this is what it says.

I even put in the date and year and what time the run was made so temperature and humidity are all accurate.

Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
13.405 @ 103.608 MPH

Read more: DA Calculator - Density Altitude Calculator - DragTimes.com

Lorentzoe you can expect to run somewhere around that corrected.

These cars run 13.8 - 14.1 @ 98 - 102 mph stock. 13.4 is a good improvement but getting to 12.9x is going to take a lot more than just bolt on exhaust and intake/manifold with a tune..

I wouldm't be surprised to see a RWD S coupe fully bolted and tuned, light weight wheels and 2 piece rotors with a perfect launch hitting 12.9.

From: Framingham Ma,
You wont hit 12's unless you get your sedan down to the 370Z's weight and make over 300 WHP. Shave 4-500 LBS and then maybe. But :/ not worth it IMO

That is silly. There are about 53819538753 other variations that play a role besides weight and power. Tires? Auto? Manual? Gearing? DA? Driver? Drag wheel setup? 60 foot? RPM?

I just plugged in the info on my 1991 MR2 I had and it says 13.3667. I went 13.01 @ 105 the first time to the track in the summer.

Also ambient temperature, humidity, sunny or shady and track conditions make a bigger difference.

It's possible. But I remember reading through a 9 page or so 1/4 mile time thread where I remember seeing at least one active member running 13.1ish.
