Has anybody with a Journey tracked their car?
My G37 isn't a Journey (it's an X coupe) but seeing as the standard X doesn't have the big brake kit, LSD or the sport suspension the experience might be the same.
My car has been autocrossed lightly in the last two years, mostly in autocross classes at local tracks/events. I did three autocross days in 2015 (two were on consecutive days) and while I missed a lot of days this year I'm going back for winter autocross in the snow later this season.
I had my brake fluid changed prior to the first session in 2015 and can echo the advice above regarding the importance of new or upgraded brake fluid. I didn't experience significant brake fade during my sessions but I can see how it would be very possible with the stock brakes.
I also lost about 1mm of tread off my tires (OEM all season tires and performance snow tires) per day. Given that my G37 is also my daily driver, I'm already budgeting for a new set of summer-only tires next year (my snow tires should last at least another season).
I loved driving in these controlled environments with my G37 but noticed that the car has a tendency to understeer (which is not uncommon with most street cars). The AWD system helps with oversteer although I did spin my car at least twice during one autocross class. However, I didn't have any real issues caused by the car's hardware itself.
Most of the issues that I experienced was with my driving skills and tactics. I highly recommend taking a class if you want to learn more; as they say, the man is more important than the machine. Best of luck!

What if I just track occasionally? Would oil/AT fluid/power steering coolers be necessary? I live in Texas btw. I will be doing a non sport brake upgrade from Z1.
