I bought the 70mm throttle body kit , but I couldn't get them to idle properly , I don't have the uprev cable The guy said I needed to change some stuff before hand , I took them off and posted them for sale I really wanted to see if they helped me break into the 12s

Nice times. I would def be pretty happy with that. Did you ever run it stock in similar DA. Just curious how much time that stuff took off.

Need to do a idle relearn. The beauty of ecutek is that there is a button for idle relearn on the software. No more of that pedal dancing for me.

Dsskyline, Do you run anywhere local in NC? Looking for a good track that's not just 1/8 mile.

This is nuts, I cant get any better than a 2.4 60ft, much worse most of the time. I'm on 275's, I have tried everything from just flooring it, stalling it, traction on/off.. How do you do it man lol. Also, I can tell that gearing is helping a ton, you having those and a 7 speed must be a ton better than the 5AT.

Are you paying attention to the light drop? You probably already know but that has zero effect on your E.T. I would let the light drop then focus exactly on what you're doing and see what that nets you.

I'm assuming you're on street tires? Are you spinning? Are you driving around the water box?

Yeah the light is solely to race the other guy and for reaction, no effect on time, totally get that. I always drive around the box or if they have it coned off I'll do a quick scrub after I roll over it. I'm on G-Force COMP2 and tried them at 50, 40 and 30PSI, all with about the same results. Depending on the outside temps I'll either spin or get a bit of wheel hop.

Sorry to muddy up your thread buddy, I'm just shocked how killer you 60ft's are. A lot of people don't realize how much a 60ft can effect the overall time. Anything you shave off the 60ft almost doubles or triples itself off your 1/4 time, its nuts.

Yeah, 1.8 second 60 foot time is pretty darned good for a street car.

Im in Raleigh..

Regarding Benson.. NICE!! Back in the day I remember it was only 1/8th mile
Gonna have to check out the new 1/4 mile track. thanks for the info.

Yep I was a G35 owner from 03 to 07ish and was on driver.. then got the G37. I visit there on occasion but I'm mostly a lurker now.
We had a lot of fun when I was on the g35 boards. There were more locals who would meet. Kinda miss that.

The name of the track is Galot Motorsports Park. TNT is on Thursdays 4-11pm and track surface is temp controlled. They redid the entire track.
