Yes the G is definitely a very fun track car ... its looks are very deceiving. All i have done to mine is that it is lowered on H&R performance springs with an SPC camber kit all around. It is about -0.6 camber in the fronts and -1.6 in the rears. The car is very surprising with how well it turns in and how crisp the handling is. It gives excellent feedback through all the corners and is truly a well balances drivers car.

I was also only on street tires (stock bridgestones). All around with my setup the way i have it, it was really fun but not very competitive because it demanded a lot of driver skill but the reward it offered was tremendous. I was constantly working very hard, but it would rewarded me with such a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

I could only imagine how awesome it would be with a good set of coilovers, and a lightweight set of track wheels wrapped in some R compound tires. It is all the car really needs to be truly competitive out there, along with a good driver of course. As far as power is concerned, it has more than enough power in my opinion. I definitely recommend you get out there and have some fun, you will develop a new respect for your car, especially the handling. I think everyone should try tracking at least once, you will get hooked!
