Went drag racing
Those are great times with just an intake , I wonder what your times are now with the mods you have listed in your sig

Are you running stock wheels JohnsVert? I took mine to the track recently. It's way above sea level though, so it's not the fastest drag track.
I am #462 and I raced my friend's tuned 370z. Just tuned that day. Both 7AT 2009 cars. 4120 lbs on my car and his significantly lighter.
This was with DS mode and the the car doing the shifting each time. Next time I will try manual mode. This was the second time I've gone and is a vast 1 sec improvement over my first time (was in the high 15s) after getting a hang of the technique to get better reaction times. So a steady 14.8. The run without the complete time seems like an aggregated time though so 14.372?

Good tips. I'm running 20s with recently new tires also, r2c intakes and an axle back (no power addition there). The first time I ran my tires were slightly worn (with 3 deg camber not helping) so I was spinning off the line. Getting up to speed starting out is very sluggingish, but I'll see what I can improve on next year and with manual shifting. This was the Z's first time on the track and I believe he does have an exhaust + gen 3 intakes. I will try and compare with the stock 19s at some point, but the negative camber is not helping much for dragging.
Seems these cars are very consistent in stock to near stock with limited mods. I took my 2008 G35 sedan to the track a few weeks back. Best of 4 runs was a 13.75 @ 100.14. Only performance mod to my car is a TopSpeed y-back exhaust. Temp was mild - low 70's. Track was prepped very well. Nice and sticky! Left car in full auto with traction control off, holding the brake to stage and leaving the line around 2500 rpm with very little to no wheel hop. Most important thing i noticed from this past trip was reaction time is key to a good run. Best run of the night as you can see had almost a perfect light! It was fun. Hoping to go again soon with more time available to try different things.
