Nurburgring is only around $30 per lap, and that for 14ish miles. I rented a car, and did 6-7 laps (about 100 miles) for around $700. So, overall, not bad for a once in a lifetime type of thing (well, second time for me). I was in Europe for work, so I did not have to pay for travel, food, accommodations, etc. which helped.

Anyway, Infineon is a great track, and looks like a lot of fun. I would love to do a track day on it. I am in Northern Cal all the time for work, but I don't ever have my car.... Maybe I will come out for a month or so, and drive my car sometime so I can do a track day there. If I could find some way to knock out Laguna Seca and Infineon, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Do you have an oil cooler? If not, you will need one of those too!

I did a HOD event last fall at Poconos on the long track & had a blast in my Vert until oil temp caused the car to go into limp mode.

my tranny went into limp mode but my engine oil stayed perfect throughout the day

I'd love to have an E63. That or a CTS-V will be in my garage one day.
