SpeedVentures will support MYG37 Members
Just spoke with Aaron@SpeedVentures
SpeedVentures have plans for near future a track time attack event for all Nissan and Infiniti's. Great news for us. Further offered members of MYG37.COM a Special discount for event at ButtonWillow RaceWay a very famous track and favorite among enthusiasts, which happens to best suit our G37.
March 12, 2011 Saturday & March 13, 2011 Sunday, at ButtonWillow Raceway. These special events offered to our members will prove that not only S2K or Evo's or STI's deserves their own track time attack events.
So I would like to invite all Infiniti and Nissan owners to participate.
Make sure to enter "MYG37 discount" on note section during registration process. This offer will expire March 1st 2011, so register ASAP.
Discount I was able to get approved was $20 cash discount, so $150 single day event fee. Or Pay normal one day event fee of $170 with free timing a $20 Value.

Buttonwillow Raceway is located just off Interstate 5 at the Lerdo Hwy exit, which is 10 miles north of the 58/I-5 interchange and 10 miles south of the 46/I-5 interchange. The track is on Lerdo Hwy, ˝ mile west of the freeway. Note that there is a $10/person gate fee charged to everyone, including friends, family, and spectators.
SCHEDULE: Although the schedule is subject to change at any time, generally the day will run smoothest for you if you show up at the track by 6:50am. Check-in typically begins at 7:00am and ends at 7:45am. Our drivers meeting usually starts at 7:50. This meeting is MANDATORY for all drivers unless you have received prior clearance to miss it. Cars typically go on track at 8:30am! PLEASE SHOW UP AT REGISTRATION NO LATER THAN 7:15am if you do not want to potentially miss your first run session of the day. When you arrive at the track, please go straight to registration inside the large building BEFORE unloading your car.
The event schedule will be provided in the registration packet you’ll receive at check-in.
UNLOADING EARLY: You may drop off your car or trailer anytime Friday or Saturday, including at night.
FOOD & DRINK: Speed Ventures provides a water dispenser with which you can refill your water bottle, canteen, cup, or other container. Please bring something to the track to drink with. The snack bar will be open for breakfast (I recommend the breakfast burrito) and lunch.
Either a TOW HOOK or some TOW POINT is mandatory on the FRONT of your car (and optional on the Rear) before going out on track. The important thing is that you have a place picked out for the FRONT that we can hook on to in order to tow you off track. Please determine appropriate tow points - it is your responsibility and we will not be responsible for any damage done to your car!
CAR NUMBERS are required. We will have tape available at the track for making numbers. Your numbers must be at least 8" tall, located on both sides and the back of your vehicle. You should use the number you signed up with. If you would like to change it, please notify us at registration.

Mike Check out following website, Discount Tires, Custom Wheels, Rims, Goodyear, Michelin, Cooper Tires
They have the lowest price possible on tires. My brother bought some Federal 595RS-R on his S2K and did 2:16 on last SV event. Considering it was his 2nd track day ever. I guess the tires made a huge difference. He gets all the lines wrong and still does 2:16 on Buttonwillow 13CW. Its not fair. You need to special order them at least a week in advance. They don't carry them, and they have the worse customer service. Let them know John@Jeby sent you and they will take off sales tax. MY BROTHER PAID FOR ALL SET OF 17" TIRES $360 PICKED UP HIMSELF. NO SALE TAX.
Warm ups, no compared to Streets, this is the main event. Cancel Streets, it is not good for our cars. I rarely go there. You will not regret. Just remember this promotion will end 03/01/2011. So if you are going register ASAP.

I have a set of RS-3 on order 
I've heard good things about the 595RS-R, but my understanding is that they grease up like star specs, but have RS-3 sidewalls...
It's on standby; I might go to SoWS on 3/11, which means I'd be driving straight to BW afterwards.
Question is, do I stay on the star specs and take it easy at SoWS or just throw on the new tires now and sell the star specs used.... >_<
They have about 3.5/32" left, but I dont know how much I'll use this weekend at ACS.

This way you can keep both for future events. Tires new or used, I think it is always good to wear them out yourself. Saves money in a long run.

I thank you for liking my idea. It is always good to have a good friends around at the racing track. No one knows what will happen there. I've seen everything.
To keep company during off sessions. Exchange ideas, feed back on latest track conditions, and yes especially during emergency and car issues.
So just let me know, drop you tires off at my shop and I will take em for you. Consider Jeb Performance as your racing team supporter.
