Track Day Video of my G37s 6mt

Last weekend at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, Texas. I go at it with an M3, Lotus, and Vette... guess who wins . Not without some drama though, I have a minor off and get sideways a couple times.

First video is from my car

YouTube - MSR Cresson - Infiniti G37 Track Day

Second video is from the M3

enjoy! let me know what you think.

Looks good man, scared me a little when I saw you get sideways but looks like you had it under control.

those are great. what is your avg speed on the track? You look like your a good driver. i did not think the G had anything on the m3 lotus and vette at the track. i saw you go into the grass from the m3's point of view. i would have #$%@ myself.

The G is a sleeper on the Track, as long as you are willing to push the car. You can see how the M3 pulls away in the straights, its got a lot lot more power. The off wasnt as bad as it looked, just a lot of dust, but it was straight off (which is why I didnt go in to have my tires checked), trust me I've had way worst . On that Track we were going clockwise, which is the slower direction, its hard to say average speed but I'd say top speed is about 95, 100 very tops, and I was going about 80-85 when I went off the track after that long turn.

I'm so jealous that your tracks have grass.... Cali tracks are all dirt

I'd say the G had a far better driver mod than the M3

nothing for performance, just stuff to keep it from overheating under track abuse. Oil cooler, changed brake and clutch fluid to Motul and upgraded brakes, slotted stop techs and Hawk DTC-60 pads

Nice, you were certainly the better driver out there. Botht the Lotus and E92 should have been far ahead but your superior driving kept you in the pack, nice!

Nice. I'm guessing that you cooked the tires a bit keeping up during the first video. During the second (M3 cam) video it looked like they got a little greasy on you.

Good fun for sure.

They give you a discount for the trackside landscaping?
