no...at least not my DE when i had it...and i ran that b*tch hard at 100 deg weather
few years back i was able to get at least 20min at SoW. have not experienced limp mode yet...but i am sure if i pushed hard enough i would. the 370 guys i read on the forums always go limp...lol...that didn't sound right.
what would you consider a real sports car Mike? (cvt waiting for the stupendously obvious answer from mike-san) LOL

Offer is the key. The Miata and S2000 are not available as fixed roof sports cars like the Viper, Lotus, Ferrari, etc. I realize both are quite capable track cars, but I hate convertibles for many reasons....

Actually, a true sports car (by a strict historical definition) is always a soft-top convertible. I'm surprised that there aren't more people on the forum who know that...
But I guess there's really no true definition of a sports car that everyone will agree.

So does a Carrera GT for that matter...
I think the trend points toward non-fixed-roof cars
Also, seeing a Carrera GT fly down the straight at big willow at 150+ is um... yeah. Chills. In 100+ degree weather. It had clutch issues before I was able to get a ride in it, but people were getting out of the car shaking.
